http://www.breitbart.tv/uncovered-video-obama-explains-how-his-health-care-plan-will-eliminate-private-insurance/ If you can spend a few minutes watching this video, you will hear the following quotes by Barack Obama: "We won't be able to limit employer coverage immediately. There will be some transition process. I can envision this 10-15 years out"; and "I happen to be a proponent of a single payer system". You will hear Barney Frank one week ago saying: "I think if we could get a public option - that could lead to a single-payer system. That's the best way to reach single payer". Our government is lying to us when it says this will not take away from us our choices. In fact, this is their incremental move to get us all covered by a government plan - except of course for THEMSELVES!
We should at least expect them to actually read the bill prior to voting on it.. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) previously laughed at the idea of all members of Congress reading the entire health care bill. “I’m laughing because I don’t know how long this bill is going to be, but it’s going to be a very long bill." Several Congressman have put forth a bill mandating the reading of the bill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

News is being made about Congressmen having to deal with feisty, take-back-my-country constituents (who are increasingly questioning their Congressmen on the issues with which they disagree), and some of them have decided not to hold town hall meetings because they consider their disagreeing constituents to be dangerous, or at least difficult - and who would want to subject themselves to that? When a group of senior citizens went to Diane Feinstein's office, for instance, to discuss their concerns over the proposed health care bill, she made them wait for 6 hours. At that time, she had police lure them outside, after which she had the doors to the building locked. Lloyd Doggett, D, was in Austin to support the opening of a new Visitor Center, when some people began protesting the health care bill. When Arlen Specter and Kathleen Sebelius held a meeting, they were confronted with folks who questioned their stated need for speed, and their stated no need for reading the bill. So - in my view, news is being made about Americans who have reached the end of their patience with a government takeover of our nation. They are showing up, speaking up, and rebelling! Perhaps these, our representatives, hold dear the proclamation by our Homeland Security Chief that Tea Party protesters are possible terrorists. They are cancelling or failing to schedule meetings while in their home states.....

I have personally learned that more than 5000 citizens joined Judge Napolitano of Fox News for a Tea Party Protest at the Capitol building in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We need more of these great turnouts of citizens demanding that their Congressmen pay attention to those whom they represent! Did any of you see this covered in the news? Probably not.

News
is breaking about what happens when a person wants to turn in his "clunker" car, which is to be destroyed within two days, in order to get $4500 from the federal government when he buys a government-approved car. The dealer logs onto Cars.gov. and "submits" his transaction. Here is where it says, ‘Privacy Act & Security Statement'. Most people will agree without actually reading to what they are agreeing. A warning box comes up, and it says, ‘This application provides to the DoT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a federal computer system and it is property of the United States government. Any and all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized CARS, DoT and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign." [ We can thank Glenn Beck for exposing this problem. Can anyone begin to feel an invasion of privacy here?]
Atty. Kimberly Guilfoyle of Fox News Network said that the government can legally use Web software to track your computer any time they want once you've logged into the site. The government, according to her, has malware systems and tracking cookies to tap in any time they want......[ And in the last administration the Democrats thought that tracking the phone calls of suspected terrorists was a bad thing.... Well, this certainly trumps that as an invasion of privacy, doesn't it? We'll keep on this to see if this could possibly be true, but it has been reported by a valid news source. An unintended consequence of this cash for clunkers program is that because the clunkers are all to be destroyed, fewer old and used cars and their parts will be available to those among us who can only afford to buy and drive an old used car. Those people's costs will be going up due to the decreasing number of used cars and parts available.....]

And in this week's I Kid You Not story, for they actually seem to be facing some detractors:

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Sam Brownback today with Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) introduced the Human-Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act of 2009.

“This legislation works to ensure that our society recognizes the dignity and sacredness of human life,” said Brownback. “Creating human-animal hybrids, which permanently alter the genetic makeup of an organism, will challenge the very definition of what it means to be human and is a violation of human dignity and a grave injustice.”
