The Obama Birth Certificate Question Hits the MSM: More Democrat Language; Historic Repeal; Eric Holder Allows Child Endangerment; Trump Comments

[Newly seated Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie declared that since he knew Obama's parents, he would clear up the birth certificate question.  Oops!  According to the Daily Mail he is under increasing pressure to clear up the question.]
The UK Daily Mail writes: Abercrombie said on Tuesday that an investigation had unearthed papers proving Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961.
He told Honolulu's Star-Advertiser: 'It actually exists in the archives, written down,' he said.
But it became apparent that what had been discovered was an unspecified listing or notation of Obama's birth that someone had made in the state archives and not a birth certificate.
And in the same interview Abercrombie suggested that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Abercrombie was asked: 'You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?'
He acknowledged the birth certificate issue would  have 'political implications' for the next presidential election 'that we simply cannot have'.  [Indeed.  I bet our President just loves this guy.]

[Because this is now openly being discussed, I bring to you a web archive of interest concerning comments made by Obama during his run for Senator.]
In a syndicated report, published Sunday, June 27, 2004, by the Kenyan Standard Times, available at:
The AP reporter stated the following:
*Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.*
This report explains the context of the oft cited debate, between Obama and Keyes in the following Fall, in which Keyes faulted Obama for not being a ‘natural born citizen’, and in which Obama, by his quick retort, “So what? I am running for Illinois Senator, not the presidency”, self-admitted that he was not eligible for the office. *Seeing that an AP reporter is too professional to submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources (ostensibly the Obama campaign in this case), the inference seems inescapable: Obama himself was putting out in 2004, that he was born in Kenya.* http://www.ety.com/HRP/americana/kenyanborn.htm
[I'm sure that someone somewhere has the video/audio clip of this debate, so we should know soon enough if the AP was correct in its reporting at the time.  If so, it begs the question of why they  did not reminded America of this when Obama was running for President.  Oh, yet - we know why.]

Legal Insurrection reports: In a fundraising e-mail supporting Martha Coakley in the special election to fill the seat vacated by Ted Kennedy, Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) referred to then-candidate, now-Senator Scott Brown, as a "far-right tea-bagger."  [The words of Democrats defines them, and inspires their voters.] http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Legal Insurrection opines: Obamacare was "historic."  Do a Google News search, and there are hundreds if not thousands of references to the "historic" nature of the legislation.

But do a similar search for the House vote repealing this historic legislation, and the term "historic" is used only to describe the legislation, not the vote.

So tell me, how many other times in history has the House of Representatives voted to repeal historic legislation?

Doesn't that make the repeal vote historic? http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/

Expose Obama writes: A 2006 law that requires the U.S. Justice Department to deploy a high-tech system for catching child pornographers has identified hundreds of thousands of criminal suspects — and collected extensive evidence pointing to the locations of their child victims.
Yet, despite knowledge of this evidence, Attorney General Eric Holder has refused calls to take serious action.
Now, a Republican-controlled Judiciary Committee, and a government oversight panel on the warpath, could finally force Holder to explain two years of inaction that left thousands of children in danger. http://www.exposeobama.com/2011/01/20/investigate-eric-holder-for-going-easy-on-child-pornography/?utm_source=Expose+Obama&utm_campaign=280c0ff02b-EO_01_20_20111_20_2011&utm_medium=email

Politico writes: As Washington returns to normalcy after the pomp and circumstance of Wednesday's state dinner, businessman — and perennial "maybe" presidential candidate — Donald Trump isn't happy about the night's festivities.
He called in to "Fox & Friends" and unleashed.
"For us to be holding state dinners for people who are just totally manipulating their currency ... is hard to believe," said Trump. "You don't give dinners to the enemy and that's what they're doing."

If it were up to a President Trump? "I would say, 'Get off your plane, come to my office and let's talk.'" (Trump has made China the subject of many criticisms of late). http://www.politico.com/click/stories/1101/trump_knocks_state_dinner.html

  1. Re:the alleged Keyes discussion.

Keyes has denied that anything like that took place. I repeat KEYES has denied that he ever said "you have to be a natural born citizen" and that Obama replied "You don't have to be a natural born citizen to run for Senate."

  2. And yet Alan Keyes has consistently screamed that Obama is not a natural born citizen and needs to show us his real Birth Certificate - which could have put all of this to rest 3 years ago. He has spent close $1million on attys. to keep this info, and the SS card from the wrong state, and the college transcripts and the passport, and the elementary school transcripts, and the doctors' reports hidden from us - making him look like he is hiding something indeed......
OR - he is just vindictively playing us for fools to get the better of us. So much for an open and transparent government.
I am not saying he is a Kenyan. I am saying it is time for him to be straight with us.
