Subpoena to learn if illegal immigrants released then commit other crimes; Lake of Ozarks owners under government regulation duress; D.C. 911 operators hung up on Americans For Prosperity calls for help; White House denies Congress their subpoenaed; St. Paul's Cathedral defiled by protesters; 15 Jobs bills passed by House; DNC Convention jobs all given to union workers;

Patriot Update reports: Have any of the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrant Barack Obama ordered released gone on to commit other crimes? Congressional Republicans think you deserve to know the answer,Congressional Democrats think finding out violate illegal aliens’rights, and the president is praying you’ll never find out.
The House Immigration Subcommittee voted to subpoena the names of all illegal immigrants referred to the government but not deported after the administration stonewalled releasing the records. The decision to authorize a subpoena passed on a 7-4 party-line vote.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith said,“The American people have a right to know what crimes these 300,000 illegal immigrants committed after ICE intentionally chose not detain them.”Subcommittee chairman Elton Gallegly,R-CA,added he hoped to “uncover how many of these aliens committed additional crimes.”Meanwhile,Democrats on the committee insist subpoenas are unnecessary and do not respect illegals’rights. Rep. John Conyers of Michigan claimed the administration is “acting in good faith,”and Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren of California worries the subpoenas are an invasion of the illegal immigrants’privacy. http://patriotupdate.com/14269/subpoenaobama-released-enough-illegals-to-fill-pittsburgh#.TrVuhi7u9_8.facebook

AP reports: CAMDENTON, Mo. (AP) -- Nearly every year, Patsy Riley has gotten unsolicited offers for her house on Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks with its spectacular views of tree-lined bluffs and its ample shoreline, but she never wanted to leave. Now, she and hundreds of her neighbors wonder what will become of their homes after a federal agency declared that many structures built close to the lake may have to go.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, citing restrictions on private developments around dams, says thousands of residences, decks, patios and boathouses appear to encroach on land belonging to the hydroelectric project in violation of federal regulations.
The announcement has triggered panic in the area's lakefront communities and led to a growing battle among regulators, a utility company, land attorneys and the state's congressional delegation. Officials say they are searching for a way to settle the issue without mass evictions.
"We are mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore," said Riley, who has lived at the lake for more than 30 years and estimates about half of her neighborhood is threatened.
The dispute pits the government's rules for hydroelectric projects against the potential vagaries of land records and private transactions that go back more than 80 years. Riley and other property owners say they have legal deeds to their land that permitted construction. The agency says it has regulations protecting the lake's recreation, scenery and environment against development. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_LAKE_REMOVING_HOMES?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2011-11-06-15-31-15
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Four Daily Caller writes: Prosperity staffers told The Daily Caller that Washington, D.C. 911 operators hung up on them four times when they asked for extra police to help them deal with the Occupy DC protesters who stormed their “Defending the American Dream Summit” Friday evening.
Engdahl said she called 911 in the middle of the show and told them the protesters appeared organized with a plan of attack as they had all the convention center exits blocked.
“I did mention [on the 911 call] how coordinated I thought the protesters’ effort was, as well as how ill-prepared both MPD and the Convention Center were in communicating together on how best to solve the problem,” she explained.

Washington Examiner writes: On Friday, Ruemmler sent Rep. Fred Upton, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Rep. Cliff Stearns, chairman of that panel's oversight and investigations subcommittee, a letter rejecting the committee's subpoena for all internal White House documents relating to Solyndra, the now-bankrupt solar panel maker with friends in high places that took a half billion in taxpayer dollars with it into insolvency.
The Ruemmler letter is a work of lawyer's art, turning an ordinary request for documents into a "significant intrusion into Executive Branch interests," one she regrets to conclude appears to have been driven by "partisan politics."
Responding, Ruemmler complained "would require the devotion of substantial resources to gather and review many documents," creating "an unreasonable burden on the president's ability to meet his constitutional duties."
As though the president would have to abandon his golf games to sort through cabinet files himself.

The UK Daily Mail laments about protesters in cathedral: Staff at St Paul's have been forced to clear up human waste inside the cathedral, it emerged today.
They have made several trips with mops to remove the mess found on a carpet inside the church near the West Steps -  just yards from the anti-capitalist protest camp.
One cleric furious at the use of the building 'as a latrine' said: ' This is desecration of a very holy place. it hurts me and it hurts the staff.'

Freedom Works reports: President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) have continuously blamed Republicans for blocking jobs bills. But this is simply not the case. The Republican-led House has passed more than 15 bills that will spur job growth while the Democratic-led Senate has failed to act. Government legislation cannot create jobs but it can help create an environment where private employers create jobs. We must put pressure on Harry Reid to bring the following House-passed real jobs bills that are currently stalled in the Senate up for a vote.    http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/jborowski/15-real-jobs-bills-stalled-in-the-senate?source=facebook

Redstate wrote: On Friday, you met John Monteith, a Charlotte, NC print shop executive who was told that he would not be awarded any contracts in conjunction with the upcoming 2012 Democratic National Convention to be held in his town because his shop was not unionized.  Given that Charlotte is located in a right-to-work state, this upset John enough that he sought media attention to shine light on what he viewed to be in stark contrast to the stated goals of Mayor Anthony Foxx, a close ally of President Obama.  Foxx claimed that the convention would be a boom to the Charlotte economy creating plenty of jobs for everyone and plenty of work for local businesses while fervently denying that unionization was the primary factor in decision making:
However, on the same day the DNC was scrambling to prove how pro-local business they are, it was revealed who they awarded the work that had been denied to John Monteith’s shop.  The work went to a company called Hargrove Inc, a shop that boasts its work force of more than 3,000 union personnel and hails from the union bastion of the Washington D.C. metro area.  They work with the biggest names in the union market.  From the Teamsters, to the Carpenters Union, union favoritism seems to be a very important reason Hargrove was selected. http://www.redstate.com/aglanon/2011/11/06/democratic-national-convention-outsources-charlotte-jobs-to-beltway-union-shop/
