All about Obama and contraception mandate; Pelosi would focus on national childcare reform modeled after Obamacare; Nixon vetoed childcare bill; Insurance industry worried about the precedent; Feds tell you what to pack in school lunches; Michelle gets discontinuation of king-size candy bars; Federal employees will not pay more into their pensions; FBI may let Muslims review all FBI anti-terrorism training; Liberty Legal Foundations files appeal on Barack's constitutional eligibility; Obama considering cutting nuclear weapons by 80%; Obama to sell tanks to Muslim Brotherhood controlled Egyptian Military; Pro-life Catholic clerics arrested for kneeling in prayer near White House

I do wish our President would take even more vacations!
American Thinker gives us an amazing article!  Here it is: Anyway, I forced myself to endure the scorching temperatures and pitchforks to congratulate you on those brilliant HHS regulations forcing people to fund insurance coverage for  abortions, sterilizations and birth control against their consciences.
Darling Adolf just loved to do that sort of thing. Remember -- are you old and well read enough to remember?  He figured out that if he could get people to operate against their conscience on small things, big things like Judenrein would be easier. Of course, that was just a start.
Martin Bormann said it just right: "National Socialism and Christianity are irreconcilable."  For the party  to rule, he said  the Churches' influence in the leadership of the people "must absolutely and finally be broken."  He was taking about the Nazi party, but heavens, Democrats, Nazis -- state control is state control.
So, this move by your Administration is just a great first step. You had all the social justice crowd in the church supporting you ,and now those wicked bishops -- how many divisions do they have anyway? -- had to step in to try to put a stop to this.
The media want to replace old fashioned religion with civic religion as much as you and I do.   So, some Catholics have and continue to threaten to shut down their social welfare services rather than comply with such things?  Great.  The sooner the people learn that the state is the provider of all things, the better -- for you and your party. Of course, not necessarily better for them or their country, but that's not the point, is it?
I suppose you have some other good ideas in the wings at HHS . Off the top of my head here are some ideas for you: Make public schools serve pork and require all kids to eat it; force Christian Scientists to see physicians and take medicine; make the Mormon Tabernacle Choir admit Moslems; ban religious circumcisions of males; draft the Amish into the military; outlaw Lutheran lutefisk parties  and  bake sales.
My goodness, the possibilities once you control the levers of power! And what could possibly give you more power than controlling healthcare delivery?

I mean even Michelle Obama's Mirror calls it the "SS.  See something, Say something."   I think she means it sarcastically but check out the great logos she's come up for the Truth Team!!  We couldn't do better and we tried  in between roastings.
I figure a couple years of this and there will be no private insurance companies because they'll be run out of business, or employer provided health insurance because it's all going to be too expensive.  And then you'll have the entire country in the palm of your hand.  [Do yourself a favor and read the entire article!]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Godfather Politics reports: And now House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has announced that she intends to push for national childcare reform, supposedly modeled after Obamacare but is starting to sound more like it is being modeled after Hitler Youth.
Pelosi started by recounting her own experience saying,
“‘I could never get a babysitter — have five kids in six years and no one wants to come to your house. … And everywhere I go, women say the same thing’ about how hard it is to find the kind of reliable care that would make their family lives calmer and work lives more productive.”

Washington Post writes:  Last week, the California congresswoman hit five cities in five days, barnstorming for money to try to win the 25 more seats it would take to regain control. And if that happens — or when, according to her — at the top of her to-do list, she says, will be “doing for child care what we did for health-care reform” — pushing comprehensive change.
Congress did pass such a bill, in 1971, but President Richard M. Nixon vetoed it because he thought it would undermine families and force them to put children in government-run centers. http://www.washingtonpost.com/princess-nancy-pelosivows-to-do-for-child-care-what-we-did-for-health-care/2011/11/15/gIQACzY1VN_story.html?tid=sm_twitter_washingtonpost

The Hill reports: The insurance industry is concerned it will take a hit from the Obama administration’s mandate that they provide birth control in health plans for employees of religious organizations that object to the coverage.
The trade group America's Health Insurance Plans has limited its comments to saying it worries about the "precedent" the mandate would set. The concern is that the government could eventually require health plans to cover any number of preventive services – even prescription drugs - without copays or deductibles, under the theory that they save money in the long-term. http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/health-reform-implementation/211563-insurers-could-take-hit-from-birth-control-mandate

Personal Liberty writes: Imagine a world in which the decisions you make for your children are irrelevant. It’s a world in which the state, rather than the parents, determines what your child must eat for lunch. [To those 1/3 of Americans who believe we have too much freedom - THIS is what tyranny looks like!  But then, maybe YOU can get a cushy government job inspecting home-packed lunches!]  State Representative G.L. Pridgen (R-Robeson) says he was shocked to hear it. Pridgen has since learned this is a nationwide practice based on Federal guidelines.  http://personalliberty.com/2012/02/17/a-preview-of-life-under-full-blown-tyranny/?eiid=

Business Insider writes: Mars, the company behind Snickers, Twix, and M&Ms, has announced that it will be discontinuing its king-size candy bars (and any other treat that exceeds 250 calories) by 2013.
The move comes at the behest of First Lady Michelle Obama. Mars is one of 16 companies in the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation who have pledged to eliminate 1.5 trillion calories by 2015, an initiative spearheaded by FLOTUS.
Apparently, some people are not happy about Mrs. Obama meddling with their junk food. The Tweetosphere was aflutter with Twitter users upset about the changes.

Daily Caller reports: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told The Daily Caller that federal employees should not have to “carry an undue burden” by paying more into their pensions to fund legislation that would extend the payroll tax cut and unemployment insurance for a full year.
“No, no. I think that we can do better than that. I support the actions of Mr. Hoyer who’s been a leader on this,” Pelosi told TheDC on Capitol Hill Thursday.
“Mr. Van Hollen, Mr. Cardin, to name a few of the — a couple of the conferees plus our distinguished Whip who’s been a champion for our federal employees. They do great work for our country. We all have to make sacrifices in this. They should not carry an undue burden.”
Congressional negotiators had reportedly considered requiring all federal employees to contribute an additional 1.5 percent into their pensions to partially pay for a package that would extend the payroll tax cut and unemployment benefits. At this point, they have agreed to require only new federal employees to put an additional 2.3 percent of their salaries toward pensions.

Atlas Shrugs reports: FBI officials say they are willing to consider a proposal from a coalition of Muslim and interfaith groups to establish a committee of experts to review materials used in FBI anti-terrorism training.

Groups at the meeting included the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, the Interfaith Alliance, and the Shoulder-to-Shoulder campaign.
The FBI is satisfied with the job that its own experts had done in reviewing and purging “problematic” materials, Allen said.
Mueller told representatives of the groups that FBI experts had reviewed almost all of the agency’s training materials. More than 700 documents and 300 presentations were subsequently pulled from the agency’s training materials.
Materials that were pulled contained incorrect or imprecise information, were stereotypical, or “in poor taste,” the FBI said. http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2012/02/fbi-open-to-us-muslim-brotherhood-groups-establishing-a-committee-to-review-materials-used-in-fbi-an.html

Western Journalism writes: The Liberty Legal Foundation has filed an appeal with the Georgia Superior Court in the case of Weldon v. Obama, one of the three Georgia lawsuits claiming Barack Hussein Obama to be Constitutionally ineligible to serve as president of the United States or to be included on the Georgia ballot.
It is probably significant that the very act of filing the appeal was fought by the Superior Court clerk’s office which claimed that an additional $2 fee had not been included with Liberty Legal’s paperwork for the filing of separate motions.
Additionally, the Court Clerk invented numerous excuses to prevent the filing, moving from one to the next whenever it was pointed out by Liberty Legal attorneys that none reflected normal court operating procedure. According to Liberty Legal attorney Van Irion, the clerk’s conduct was, in the course of his entire legal experience, “unheard of.” http://www.westernjournalism.com/appeal-of-obama-eligibility-decision-filed-yesterday/

Free Beacon reports: President Obama’s plan for the Pentagon to cut deployed strategic nuclear warheads by 80 percent is meeting harsh resistance from House Armed Services Committee Republicans on Capitol Hill who called the plan “dangerous.”
In a letter to the president sent Thursday, a group of 34 House members expressed deep concerns about a National Security Council directed plan to reduce strategic warheads to as few as 300 weapons.
“At a time when every other nuclear weapons state has an active nuclear weapons modernization program and many are growing their stockpiles and capabilities, it is inconceivable to us that you would lead the United States down such a dangerous plan,” the lawmakers stated.
According to U.S. officials, the Nuclear Posture Review Implementation Study was ordered in August and is nearing completion. http://freebeacon.com/house-republicans-to-obama-nuke-cut-plan-is-dangerous/

The Jerusalem Post reports: On Friday President Barack Hussein Obama informed the US Congress that he intended to sell 125 M-1A1 Abrams Tanks to the Egyptian Military.
With the nation of Egypt in turmoil, and the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood is poised to assume total control over Egypt, why would any sane and rational person sell tanks (or any weapon) to a nation bent on not only destroying its neighbor, but who would turn the same weapons on the US to destroy it.
From the Jerusalem Post:
The US signaled last week that it plans to continue business as usual when it comes to arms sales to the Egyptian military, despite the recent revolution in Egypt and continued anti-government demonstrations there. http://www.maggiesnotebook.com/2011/07/m-1a1-abrams-to-be-sold-to-the-muslim-brotherhood/

Examiner.com reports: In response to the president's national health care plan, widely known as ObamaCare, six pro-life marchers were arrested today in front of the White House.
Among those arrested were a Catholic priest, Father Denis Wilde, the Associate Director of Priests for Life; and Presbyterian minister, the Reverend Patrick Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition.
LifeSiteNews.com is reporting that a total of six pro-life protestors were charged and arrested for "disobeying a lawful order," and eventually released after paying a $100 fine apiece.
Fr. Wilde stated that it is legal to protest in front of the Executive Mansion, but only if the protestors are physically in motion.
